Half an hour unpaid lunch break each day

Job Purpose
To Identify and initiate contact with potential customers to sell Silclear products and services achieving new business and increasing sales.
This role is ideally suited to someone with internal sales experience who is looking to further their career with an opportunity to combine both
internal and external sales.
Key Tasks
- Follow up sales leads generated by marketing activities via telephone
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
- Initiate regular and systematic telephone follow up of customers and maintain records using CRM system
- Effectively assess customer needs and offer/demonstrate appropriate solutions
- Produce accurate written quotations for customers
- Attend and participate in outside events, e.g. exhibitions
- Meet and exceed agreed specific performance objectives
- Maximise sales by continually expanding orders and up selling on all incoming and outgoing calls
- Review the Company’s existing customer base within the dairy and medical industry
- Keep up-to-date with market changes and legislation
- Work flexibly and be receptive and adaptable to a changing environment within a fast expanding Company
- Deal with any customer queries, issues, or problems and resolve any customer complaints in a polite and courteous manner
- Work closely with the MD to agree sales forecasts and budgets
- Provide MD with written update reports/summaries at agreed frequencies
- General administration duties as and when required as well as any reasonably ad hoc tasks that may be requested of you
- Office based position, some travel will be required
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
- Good general education with high levels of literacy and numeracy
- Proven, successful sales experience
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Able to work under pressure and achieve sales targets
- Ability to work under own initiative, organize, plan and prioritise work
- Highly dependable and able to meet deadlines
- Able to work within a team
- IT knowledge and skills, to support generation of management information to support decision making
