Silclear wins Queen’s Award

Silclear Limited, is delighted to announce that it has won the coveted Queen’s Award for Enterprise – International Trade, the UK’s highest accolade for business success.

Silclear’s silicone products play a key role in ensuring the safe transportation and collection of milk in dairy installations across the world. Silclear’s products are an essential consumable for the dairy industry and provide superior durability and stability compared to available alternatives. This has generated substantial interest from international customers, with sales overseas having grown by 76% over the three-year application period and the proportion of sales exported increasing to 88% of total sales.

The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise

The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise are highly prestigious awards for outstanding achievement by UK businesses in the categories of Innovation, International Trade, Sustainable Development and Social Mobility and are only given for the highest levels of excellence demonstrated in each category.

The awards are made each year by The Queen, on the advice of the Prime Minister, who is assisted by an Advisory Committee that includes representatives of Government, industry and commerce, and the trade unions. They are judged to a demanding level and winners receive a number of benefits and worldwide recognition.
