Many dairy farmers in the UK are converting to using the Silclear one piece silicone liner mainly due to it's cost effectiveness, hygienic capability and kinder revolutionary massage.
Frank Kenyon of Dumfires, Scotland, milks 200 cows and is ecstatic about the performance of the liners, having kitted out his new parlour.
'I tried just one unit first and within a month I knew I wanted to change over. They are brilliant to work with because they are lighter to put on. Not only that, but since putting all the sets on I am finding it easier to keep within Band A milk supply - I guess replacing the liners means ridding a lot of rubberware.'
Interestingly Frank uses a Bio-pulse claw, simply having drilled a bleed hole to allow the Silclear liners to work.
Astonishingly he reported that 'since installing the liners - no claws have broken because they have not been kicked off, I used to have to spend money on having spare bowls around but now that cost has been basically eliminated'.
Of course this saving for Frank can be attributed to the revolutionary Silclear liner massaging action which makes for a kinder - less aggressive milking action.
Frank expresses that the 'cows milk out very well - especially the heifers - the whole herd seems a lot quieter and more at ease'.
