Silclear Liners
The natural Progression for the Silclear Product Range!
After extensive research and lengthy 'on farm' trials, we are proud to introduce the Silclear Liner.
Designed to give maximum comfort to the cow and to minimise on the incidence of mechanically caused mastitis, the Silclear Liner works gently, but efficiently, for fast effective milking. The special design features of the Silclear Liners mean that:
- They do not 'creep', so they do not cause damage to the delicate secretory tissue at the base of the udder.
- Maximum comfort for the cow is achieved by the tapered pre-collapsed section, which closes gently to massage the teat instead of the more usual 'snap' shut action of other liners.
- When milked using Silclear Liner, teats are not subjected to trauma or bruising, which means less teat damage, and less fidgeting during milking!
- The soft, supple teat orifice ensures that all sizes of teat can be accommodated and milked efficiently and effectively.
- There is nothing in the Silclear silicone material to cause teat sores or lesions to the delicate teat skin tissue.
- The special high strength long life silicone compounds we use in the manufacture of the Silclear Liner mean that they are tough, strong, long lasting, and very cost effective.

Silclear Ltd recommend that, if you are currently getting 6 months, (say 2,500 milkings) out of rubber liners, you can expect 2 years use, (10,000 milkings) from Silclear liners.
Dairy Processors base 'company policy', for the regulated lifetime of dairy farm input usage, on the appropriate manufacturers' specific recommendations.
Hence use Silclear liners with confidence as the above lifetime was proven over a 2 year 'on farm' trial period in the UK between June/July 1996 -September 1998 and full production liners have been in use since then!

Unlike rubber liners Silclear liners do not stretch
You can use your existing claws/bowls assuming they are compatible The Silclear One-piece liner must be used with it's uniquely designed clear polycarbonate shell. These are incredibly cheap being less than £4.00 each!
